STAYING AFTER SCHOOL


Students must ride the bus (if bus eligible), be picked up, or walk home promptly at the end of school and may not stay on school grounds unless they are under the direct supervision of a teacher or their parent. Teachers or staff members will not ask or require your child to stay after school for any reason unless you are contacted, and permission is given. Staff should not be asked to watch your child after school hours.

Kaysville Chess Club disclosure form Purpose of the club: The Kaysville Elementary Chess Club is a place where students can learn chess tactics and strategy. Students will then hone those skills by playing against other players while learning good sportsmanship and other social skills. Goals of the club: Students at Kaysville will become better chess players through lessons, free play, and challenge matches while making friends. Schedule: The club will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 every Thursday (except holidays and parent-teacher conferences). We will hold a tournament during STEAM Night, and for those who want to, we will send a team to the Utah Elementary State Chess Tournament in the spring. ALL library books are now due. If your child has a missing book, a notice will be coming home today along with a picture of the books in case your students can't remember what their book looks like. All classes with every book in and all fines paid will earn a library party during their library time next week.
